Ambrose's Peristylium

Finished my first sketchbook! Followed this coptic stitch tutorial, and very pleased with how it went. It feels very solid, opens flat easily, and I love the braided look of the stitching on the spine. I definitely want to make another one, probably with some toned paper just cause they are harder to find in sketchbooks. Next time I want to get some thread designated for bookbinding (I think this was some general craft waxed thread, maybe they are all the same), and I want to use a cover paper that is not striped so I don’t have to panic over alignment while glue is rapidly drying.
